Toscano Restaurant & Wine Bar, under the management of the Red Apple Kitchen Pvt. Ltd, is a fine-dining Italian restaurant chain with branches across Bangalore, Chennai and recently opened in Pune as well.


Fusing the best of old and new world Italian cuisine, Toscano offers an eclectic menu from gourmet pizzas to multi-course dinners. In the year 2008, Toscano had a fantastic launch of their flagship outlet at the majestic UB city Bengaluru and that was the start of its chain of outlets.


 

The Founders

Michael Jerassand who represents a breed of expat chefs whose tryst with India began when five-star hotels hired them for their skills and global expertise Staying back in India, the decided to be his own boss and learnt to negotiate with local vendors and morphed into restaurateurs serving global epicurean cuisine and believes in mantra of delicious food with fine dining a win any day and with this he teamed up with Indian chef Gautam Balasubramanium who believes in giving his team freedom of creativeness and delivering a full profitable return to his stakeholders


 

In 2019, the company stepped further and reached outside of its Bangalore territory to a new destination in Chennai. It is designed as a contemporary dining space with classic and modern Italian elements and incorporated into it.

This Graham cracker smoked vanilla cheesecake at Toscano, Nungambakkam is definitely on the MUST HAVE list for desserts in Chennai.



This slice of cheesecake is priced at ₹345 per plate, which does seem a bit pricey but it definitely is worth every single penny. With aromatic candles lit at every table, Toscano is a good pick for any intimate occasion. Another MUST HAVE here is their Peach Ice tea! ⭐️
